Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing
World class fly fishing at the South Fork Lodge offers some of the best dry fly fishing in the country. The Lodge sits on the banks of one of America's greatest tail-water fisheries, the South Fork of the Snake River, downstream from Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Palisades Reservoir. Our guides are skilled in challenging the most experienced angler or patiently introducing first timers to the sport. Fishing is what we do!
One of the advantages you enjoy while staying at the South Fork Lodge is the head start you have over other anglers in starting your day of fishing on the river. For example, one put-in is a mere two hundred yards from where you meet your guide. Other anglers may need to drive for an hour or more to get to the same stretch of water. This advantage gives you an edge and provides for a more casual start to your day. For more detailed fishing information visit our South Fork Outfitters and Henry's Fork Anglers sites.
"The South Fork of the Snake River is as perfect a Western tailwater as you can find." -American Angler, September 2003
Other Area Activities
For non-anglers, there is plenty to enjoy in the surrounding Targhee National Forest and greater Yellowstone region while staying with us at the lodge.
