Idaho River Float Adventures
Idaho has more river water than any other state outside of Alaska. It has several of the last free-flowing rivers and the largest contiguous wilderness areas in the lower 48. Without question, the lure of the great outdoors is what makes Idaho great.
- Whitewater Rafting -
Yellowstone and Jackson area whitewater combines the serene beauty of a scenic float with the excitement of paddling through rapids in the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. Often visitors will float past Bald Eagles, Osprey nesting grounds, and larger game such as Moose and Elk. The Yellowstone region rivers are home to a variety of waterfowl and native animals such as deer, elk, otters, and moose. Early morning is the watering time for most animals along the river and affords the best opportunity for wildlife viewing. There is no need for superlatives, the names of the rapids say it all - Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Three Oar Deal, Ropes, and Champagne.
