Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park - The world's first national park, a sliver of which lies in eastern Idaho, now attracts more than 2.8 million visitors each year. Yellowstone's 3472 square miles contain hundreds of uncommon sites including 10,000 thermal features and more than 60 species of mammals, 320 species of birds and a half-dozen game fish. Elk, moose and bison can frequently be seen by passing visitors.

Many of our guests will visit the park as part of their journey to this magnificent region of the country. The best way to enjoy the park is to spend a night or two within the park itself after or before your multi-day fishing stay with us. This gives you the time needed to see the wonders of Yellowstone National Park without missing any fishing on the South Fork. However, with an early start, you could reach some of the main attractions and be back to the lodge in the late evening.

One route to Yellowstone is through Rigby, Rexburg, Ashton and into West Yellowstone - click for directions. Another is through Jackson Hole, Teton National Park and to the South Entrance - click for directions.
