The newly-renovated and reimagined lodge is steeped in angling history with dry fly fishing among the best America has to offer.  Wild cutthroats, rainbows and brown trout look up often, with tailwater flows that stay cool and productive all year long. Boasting between 5,000 and 6,000 trout per mile, the South Fork is the river anglers dream of when planning that special fishing adventure.

The grounds at South Fork Lodge are simply stunning, an homage to the eastern Idaho lifestyle that blends Rocky Mountain rustic with elegant western charm. Spacious indoor and outdoor gathering areas encourage anglers to come together to share stories, raise glasses and make plans to catch more wild trout come morning. 

Owners Jimmy Kimmel and Oliver White spared no expense renovating this historic property, inside and out.  Every detail has been considered and in 2023, White and Kimmel added a line of new, three bedroom A-frame cabins and SFLY, a mammoth roadside fly shop.  Every room is beautifully appointed with art, furnishings and linens to make your time off the river exceptional.

BBQ Hall of Fame member Adam Perry Lang and James Beard award-winner (America’s Best Restaurateur 2022) Chris Bianco, both avid fly fishermen, teamed up to create a family-style meal program unlike any you’ve experienced.  James Beard nominee Cassie Shortino, Jen Curtis and our expert and creative kitchen chefs use locally-sourced meats and produce to make every meal a celebration. Hearty and delicious breakfasts, freshly-prepared lunches served on the river, unforgettable family style dinners and decadent desserts make it easy for guests to forget they’re at a fishing lodge.
